Dale gave me an 100% definite guarantee he could come and film my event. Two days before the show he told me the price had to go up by 100, when it was far too late for me to find anyone else to do it. Then the next day it went up by another 50, with more apologies. I paid 100% up front for the filming.Dale sent Alan and a colleague to film the show but they never turned up. 20 minutes before the show, Dale told me Alan was sitting in a motorway service station having a little break.On the plus side, Dale refunded the money quickly. I don't really know what the deal is with these guys & I doubt they're con-men. I just don't think they have a clue how to run a business and I certainly wouldn't rely on them to deliver what they say they're going to.
Sales team were brilliant but after sales, an employee named Alan, were abysmal. Their courier mucked up the original collection, then the item was sent back to our home address! The company took 600 as the holding deposit, despite there being no mention of this when we called to explain what had happened. In fact they seemed quite pleasant. When we realised 600 had been taken from our account, we spoke to Alan who advised the contract was with vid4hire and not DPD so it was our responsibility to ensure collection and delivery. We have upcoming events this year, but will absolutely not be using this company again.
